There
is NO upfront fee for hiring a real estate agent to represent you. In
residential real estate, whether new construction or existing homes,
agents are paid from commissions deducted at closing from the sellers
proceeds. In new construction, the price to you is the same, with or
without representation - the builder simply makes a little more profit if
you don't have an agent. If you buy through the listing agent on an
existing home then that agent receives both the listing and selling
commission. Click
